I believe there are two important aspects of effective therapy, 1. The therapeutic relationship 2. Evidence-based practices. It is important to find someone you “click with” and who you trust to guide you through the process of healing. I have spent my career working with both adolescents and adults. This has ranged from working in the pediatric ER and community crisis programs to intensive outpatient therapy programs. Life is hard, and the coping skills you developed along the way may no longer be serving you. I’d love to help you learn new ways to approach life so that you feel ready to be your own therapist when our work is done.
I specialize in providing therapy to teens, adults and first responders facing challenges such as OCD, PTSD, Panic Disorders and Phobias. I have undergone extensive training in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Common Elements Treatment Approach (CETA) for PTSD, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Seeking therapy can feel daunting and overwhelming. My goal is to make this process feel approachable and something you look forward to. I firmly believe everyone has the capacity to change and would love to help you make the changes you want to see in your life. If it seems like we would be a good fit, please reach out with any questions!
